At 'Gwenne', our story started back in 1995 with stationery and favours, a cupboard and a start up budget of £300!

In 2001 we moved into bridalwear & we celebrate 25 years of bridal in 2026. We built our business because we loved bridal not because

we had a bad experience or because we thought we could do better than others. We have a passion for bridal and we do things our way.

We are family run. Everything we have achieved is down to good honest hard work and our client word of mouth referrals.

For us it's about the warmth in the welcome, making you feel at ease and  providing the best personalised experience possible to enable you to pick your dress in the knowledge that you are buying it from a business who cares and know their business and products.

Our two boutiques in Broxburn and Edinburgh together are firmly established as one of the best bridal companies in Scotland. This year we won Bridal Boutique of the Year in Scotland so we were quite chuffed as it was unsolicited. 

 

Our Broxburn shop has a wide range of wedding dresses from size 12 - 36  and our Edinburgh boutique carries sizes ranging from 6 - 20. Both stores have DIFFERENT dresses. To offer you this high standard of personal service both shops are appointment only. We also do a pre consultation zoom ahead of every appointment as we feel this tailors the appointment specifically to you. We charge a £30 fee for the first bridal appointment.
