Gwenne - About us

Gwenne Wedding Services was formed in 1995 by Gwenne Jeffrey initially selling handmade wedding favours and personalised wedding stationery.

In 2006 we are now Gwenne Wedding Services Ltd. We now have two ‘shops’ inside a shop. One specialises in bridalwear and the other - craft supplies. Bridalwear covers bridal, bridesmaids, shoes, tiaras and veils. Our craft shop encompasses craft materials, favours, wedding stationery and foil blocking.

As a company we are friendly and professional. Our shop aim is to treat each customer as an individual and to do the best we can at all times.

Scott Jeffrey aka The Boss
Married to Gwenne .Worked behind the scenes for years but now runs the craft shop and makes the wedding stationery. He is responsible for all the loud music from the back shop. He gets to go to the football on a Saturday.

Founded GWS in 1995. Age 18! Married to Scott. Mother to two cats: Smudge & Frisky. Only drawback about having a bridal shop is I need to work Saturdays and I miss the football.

Stephanie Henderson -> Craft Shop Manager
Stephy has worked for us for 8 years. She is really 24 although no-one believes us (she is not 15). She is happily married to Brian. She specialises in all things craft, stationery and favours. She is the craft shop manager. She is also a proud mum to Duke.

Fiona Storie aka Tall Fiona -> Senior Bridalwear Assistant
Worked for GWS for 5 years. Age 29! She is married to Ali and has a daughter Isla. Fiona likes good hotels, fine wine, reading and watching rugby (players!). She is our ‘allegedly’ sensible staff member ?

Paula Dornan -> Senior Bridalwear Assistant
Is in her third year at GWS. She is a very young looking 32 (coffee all year for that!). Married to Paul with two daughters: Caitlin and Jessica. Paula is our full time bridal assistant. She loves all dresses but the fuller the skirt the better!!

Isabel Barclay aka Mad Izzy -> Izzy of All Trades
Has been involved in GWS for the past 11 years. She is the unpaid help-does everything that needs done. Always keeps us on our toes and keeps us entertained. Always turns up. Mum of Gwenne.

Shelley MacDonald> Bridalwear Assistant
Shelley is our Saturday lady who is fully trained in bridalwear. She started in December 2006 and is actually still here!!!! She enjoys her jobs and is an asset to our team.
